Our Mission

At Taste Quest Farm, we're on a mission to promote honest, transparent farming practices that respect the land, honor traditional methods, and produce food of exceptional quality and flavor.

We believe that food should be grown in harmony with nature, without synthetic chemicals or shortcuts that compromise quality. Our commitment is to cultivate varieties chosen for flavor rather than shelf life, and to harvest at peak ripeness.

By maintaining transparency in our growing methods and building direct relationships with our customers, we aim to reconnect people with the source of their food and the seasonal rhythms of agriculture.

The Farm

Nestled in the fertile valley of Richmond, BC, our 15-acre farm has been in the family for three generations. What began as a small homestead in 1978 has grown into a diverse agricultural operation that remains true to its roots.

Our land features rich, loamy soil that we've carefully nurtured over decades. We maintain hedgerows and wildflower borders to support beneficial insects and pollinators, and our ponds provide habitat for frogs and other wildlife that help keep pest populations in check naturally.

Today, the farm is home to vegetable fields, fruit orchards, herb gardens, and a small herd of dairy goats, all managed by our family with the help of a dedicated team who share our values and vision.

How We Grow

Soil health icon

Soil First

We build soil health through composting, cover cropping, and minimal tillage. Healthy soil grows healthy plants that naturally resist pests and disease.

No chemicals icon

No Chemicals

We never use synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers. Instead, we rely on natural methods like companion planting, beneficial insects, and organic amendments.

Biodiversity icon

Biodiversity

We grow dozens of different crops and varieties, rotating them seasonally to prevent pest buildup and maintain soil fertility. This diversity creates a resilient farm ecosystem.
